The F1 For Help Program consists of a board of
MBUG-PC volunteers who will take
your phone calls and attempt to locate an MBUG-PC member to help you if you have a
computing problem. They will attempt to support shareware and legitimate retail products.
Do not bother to call for help on retail software unless you own it and have an official
copy
of the documentation.
Look for the F1 For Help people at the
MBUG-PC
General Meetings. They will be
wearing name tags with the F1 logo similar to the one in the title of this column. If you
have
a question during the meeting, contact one of these F1 For Help people at
the break and
ask it. If they can't answer the question, they will direct you to someone who can.

Use the above hours as a guideline during the week. On weekends and
holidays, just be
considerate about the time you call.
F1 volunteers offer their services without compensation to anyone
who asks for help,
with the understanding that MBUG-PC, its Board of Directors, and the F1 volunteers
themselves are in no way responsible or liable for the accuracy or the outcome of any
advice or suggestions given to anyone requesting help.
